WORKSHOPS
I offer hands on photography workshops designed for photographers who want to learn in a relaxed, supportive environment.
From understanding studio lighting to exploring creative, conceptual storytelling through photography, my workshops focus on learning by doing, building confidence, and developing a deeper connection with your work.
With small group sizes and real shooting time, these sessions are about slowing things down, asking questions, and learning how to create images with intention, emotion, and meaning, not just technically correct photographs.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to push your creativity further, my workshops are designed to help you understand why you’re creating, not just how.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years, with a journey that began long before photography became what it is today.
I studied photography at A Level and went on to university to continue my studies, but ultimately chose to step away from formal education to pursue photography as a full time business, learning through real world experience, creative exploration, and years of working with people, light, and story.
Over the years, my work has been widely recognised and shared across the photography industry. I’ve been featured by leading photography publications, shared by major brands, and awarded in dozens of photography competitions, including a competition win with National Geographic. My work has also been recognised and shared by Canon themselves.
While recognition is an honour, what matters most to me is the craft, understanding light, emotion, and storytelling, and creating images that feel honest, intentional, and meaningful. My approach is instinctive and hands on, shaped by years of shooting, experimenting, and trusting the creative process rather than relying on formulas or trends.
This experience now forms the foundation of my workshops, offering practical knowledge, creative guidance, and real insight gained from two decades behind the camera.

THE ART OF STORY TELLING
This session is focused on creating conceptual images that feel like stills from a film, layered, emotional, and open to interpretation.
We’ll dive into the creative process behind surreal and cinematic photography: where ideas come from, how to develop them, and how to visually communicate a story without needing explanation. You’ll learn how to build a narrative through styling, composition, light, and timing, creating images that invite the viewer in and make them feel something.
This is about intention over perfection. You’ll be encouraged to explore darker themes, abstract concepts, and emotionally driven ideas, while developing a visual voice that feels unmistakably yours.

Half day practical workshop

Concept development and visual storytelling techniques
-

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING
These sessions are just the beginning.
This education space is being built as a long term, evolving collection of workshops designed to support photographers at every stage of their journey, creatively, technically, and professionally. Over time, this will grow into a full suite of learning experiences that cover all elements of photography, while staying rooted in storytelling, intention, and artistic vision.
Future workshops will span a wide range of genres and approaches, including wedding photography, outdoor and lifestyle portraits, studio and environmental work, and cinematic, concept led image creation. Whether you want to refine your technical foundations, deepen your storytelling skills, or push into more experimental and creative territory, there will be sessions designed to meet you where you are.
Alongside practical skills, these workshops will explore the why behind the image, how to see moments before they happen, how to build atmosphere, how light, composition, and movement influence emotion, and how to create work that feels intentional rather than accidental. You’ll be encouraged to slow down, think deeper, and develop a style that feels authentic to you rather than chasing trends.
As the collection grows, you can expect:
-
Wedding focused sessions covering real world workflows, creative approaches, and storytelling through a full day
-
Outdoor portrait workshops that explore natural light, movement, connection, and environment
-
Cinematic and conceptual workshops focused on mood, symbolism, and visual narrative
-
Studio-based sessions that blend technical knowledge with creative experimentation
-
Smaller mentoring-style sessions for photographers looking to refine their voice or direction
This isn’t about rigid formulas or one size fits all teaching. Each session is designed to be practical, honest, and experience led, drawing from years of professional work across multiple genres. The aim is not just to help you take better photographs, but to help you think differently, see more clearly, and create images that resonate.
New workshops will be added regularly, with some offered as one off experiences and others returning as part of a wider learning pathway. Whether you join for a single session or grow alongside this programme over time, you’ll be part of something that values creativity, depth, and intentional storytelling.
This space will continue to grow, and this is only the first chapter.
