CAPTURING LOVE, ONE STORY AT A TIME ...
Weddings don’t unfold slowly.
They rush past in a blur of nervous laughs, happy tears, loud music, quiet squeezes of hands, and moments you don’t even realise are happening until they’re already gone.
One minute you’re getting ready, the next you’re being pulled onto a dance floor wondering how the day disappeared so quickly.
That’s the part most couples don’t realise until afterwards, how much of their wedding day they didn’t actually get to see.
And that’s where I come in.
With nearly 20 years of experience and more than 150 weddings photographed, I’ve learned that wedding photography isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. About noticing the things you can’t, the glance across the room, the way your hands find each other without thinking, your mum watching you when you’re not looking, your friends losing themselves in the joy of it all.
While your day moves fast, my job is to slow it down.
I document your wedding as it truly happens, not staged, not forced, not interrupted, so you can come back to it again and again, and feel it exactly as it was. The nerves. The laughter. The emotion. The chaos. The calm.
I don’t believe in pulling you away from your guests for hours or making you perform for the camera. Most of my couples tell me the same thing: “We’re awkward in front of the camera.”
Good news, you don’t need to be anything other than yourselves.
I work quietly, intuitively, and with intention. I blend in when needed, step in when it matters, and always know when to let moments unfold naturally. I’m there to guide you when things feel overwhelming, and disappear when the magic is happening on its own.
Because the best photographs aren’t posed, they’re felt.

"I’M THERE TO CAPTURE THE EMOTION AND BEAUTY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY. I LOVE IT WHEN MY COUPLES GET TO RELAX, GO WITH THE FLOW AND ENJOY THEMSELVES."
What makes each wedding exciting to me is that no two stories are ever the same. I don’t just turn up with a formula. I adapt, observe, connect, and respond to what’s happening in front of me. I become part of the rhythm of your day, trusted, calm, and completely invested.
Being a great wedding photographer means being many things at once:
a storyteller, a listener, a calming presence, a quiet observer, and sometimes the person reminding you to breathe.
I take the time to get to know you, not just as a couple, but as people, because the more comfortable you feel, the more honest your photographs become. And honesty is where the magic lives.
Your wedding day isn’t about trends or perfection. It’s about connection, emotion, and moments that deserve to be remembered exactly as they were. My job is to make sure none of that gets lost.
I’m there to capture the emotion and beauty of your wedding day, so you can relax, go with the flow, and actually enjoy it.
Because when you do, the photographs speak for themselves.

FAQ'S
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SEND AN ENQUIRY
Once you’ve filled in the contact form, I’ll be in touch personally within 48 hours. I’ll check availability for your date and send over some more information about how I work, along with next steps. If I’m available, we’ll arrange a relaxed chat — no pressure, no sales pitch — just a chance to talk about your plans, your day, and see if we’re the right fit for each other. If everything feels right, I’ll guide you through securing your date and we’ll take it from there.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes. I’m fully insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance, giving you peace of mind that you’re covered throughout your wedding day. Many venues require this as standard, and I’m happy to provide documentation if needed.
WERE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, WILL YOU HELP US?
Absolutely! and you’re not alone. Most of the couples I work with feel exactly the same. You don’t need to know what to do or how to pose. My approach is relaxed and natural, focusing on real moments rather than stiff direction. I’ll guide you gently when needed, keep things easy, and give you space to be yourselves. Most couples tell me they quickly forget about the camera altogether, which is when the best photographs happen.
HOW DO YOU WORK ON THE DAY?
I work in a relaxed, documentary way, quietly observing and capturing moments as they naturally unfold. I’m there to tell the story of your day, not to direct it. When it comes to portraits, including group photos, I’m calm, organised, and efficient. I’ll guide things just enough to keep everything moving smoothly, without pulling you away from your day for long. Most group portraits are done quickly and with minimal fuss, so you can get back to celebrating. The rest of the time, I blend in with your guests, anticipating moments and documenting them as they happen, allowing you to stay fully present and enjoy every part of your day.
CAN WE HAVE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Absolutely. A second photographer can be added to your wedding day to capture additional moments and viewpoints. I only work with trusted photographers whose work and approach align with mine, so everything feels consistent and relaxed.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?
Experience matters here. With many years of photographing weddings, I’m used to adapting calmly when plans change, timings shift or unexpected situations arise. Weddings rarely run exactly to schedule, and that’s completely normal. I always work with professional backup equipment and take care to protect your images from the moment they’re captured. If anything unexpected happens on the day, I handle it quietly and without fuss, so you can stay focused on enjoying your wedding.
DO YOU HELP WITH TIMINGS OR PLANNING AT ALL?
Yes! I’m always happy to help. With years of experience photographing weddings, I can offer guidance on timings that work well for photography, light, and the natural flow of the day. I’m not a wedding planner, but I’ll happily share advice, suggest realistic timelines, and help you build a schedule that feels relaxed rather than rushed. The aim is always to protect your time and keep the day feeling enjoyable.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH SAME SEX AND NONE TRADITIONAL WEDDINGS?
Absolutely. I photograph weddings of all kinds, including same sex weddings and celebrations that don’t follow traditional formats. What matters to me is connection, love, and telling your story in a way that feels true to you. Every couple and every wedding is different, and I approach each one with the same care, respect, and attention to what makes it unique.
